Armadillo TV runs a private companion server on your home network. Open it in any phone browser and the whole set is there: live channels, the guide, your recordings, movies and shows. Nothing to install, nothing in an app store, password-protected out of the box.
Schedule recordings from the couch. Start a movie on the PC and finish it in bed; resume syncs both ways. Cast to the TV, download a recording for the road, or pair it with a private VPN like Tailscale and take the living room out of the house.

No account. No telemetry. No analytics. Armadillo TV collects nothing about you, and there is no server of ours for your viewing habits to reach.
Provider credentials are encrypted with Windows DPAPI and stay on your machine. The phone companion streams through your PC, so they never travel. The complete list of network calls: your provider, and a read-only version check.
There's nothing to snoop, because we're not watching back.

Does Armadillo TV come with channels?
No, and it never will. Armadillo TV is a player. It works with the IPTV subscription or M3U playlist you already have, and it neither provides, sells, nor recommends content. If you just want to poke around first, onboarding offers a free demo playlist of public, legal channels.
How does the trial work?
Every feature is unlocked for 7 days from first launch. No account, no card, no nagging until the last few days, and even then only a little. When licenses go on sale, a one-time key unlocks it for good.
Windows warned me about the installer.
SmartScreen is cautious about new publishers while our code-signing certificate finishes its paperwork. Click More info, then Run anyway. The installer is published only through our GitHub releases, and upgrades keep all your data and recordings.
What do I need?
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. The installer bundles everything else, including the player engine and the companion server. The uninstaller removes it cleanly and leaves your recordings where you can find them.
