These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the armadillotv.com website and the Armadillo TV software published by Knarrly LLC ("we", "us"). By visiting the website or installing the software, you agree to these Terms.
1. The website
armadillotv.com describes Armadillo TV, offers it for download and purchase, and provides support resources. It is informational: we do not sell or provide any streaming content through the website itself.
2. The software
Downloading and installing the Armadillo TV desktop application is governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA), not these Terms. Where these Terms and the EULA conflict on use of the software, the EULA controls.
3. The companion server
Armadillo TV includes an optional companion server that runs on your own computer and is reached from your phone or another device over your local network (LAN). It is self-hosted: you are responsible for your network, its security, and who else can reach it. We do not host, operate, or have access to your companion server or the traffic on it.
4. IPTV sources and content
Armadillo TV is a media player. It does not provide, host, sell, or endorse any live channels, video on demand, or program guide data, except an optional demo playlist of publicly available, freely licensed streams bundled with the software. Any playlist, portal, or link you add is a source you supply, and you are solely responsible for ensuring your use of it is lawful in your jurisdiction and consistent with your agreement with that provider.
5. Purchases and refunds
License keys are sold through Stripe, which processes your payment; we never see your card number. Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy (REFUNDS.md), which explains the trial period and our 14-day money-back guarantee.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the website or software to violate any law or the rights of others; (b) attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to our website, license servers, or update infrastructure; (c) misrepresent your identity to obtain a license, refund, or support; or (d) scrape or republish the website's content at scale without our permission.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE WEBSITE AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the website or software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any particular content source or device.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR SOFTWARE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, AND WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, the state of formation of Knarrly LLC, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms as the website or software changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
