The short version: Armadillo TV collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking. We designed it that way on purpose.
Everything the app knows lives locally on your PC: your channel database, program guide, recordings, favorites, watch progress, and settings (in %LOCALAPPDATA%). Your provider credentials are encrypted with Windows DPAPI and never leave your machine: the companion server streams to your phone without ever exposing them.
The companion server runs on your own network (your home LAN), not ours. It is not exposed to the internet by the Software, and its access password is stored only as a salted hash on your PC. We never see it.
The support form on our website is handled by Netlify Forms. Whatever you type into it (and the email address you provide, if any) is delivered to us to answer your request; it is not used for marketing.
None are sent today. If a future version adds crash reporting it will be opt-in, clearly labeled, and this policy will be updated first.
We have no data to sell, and we would not sell it if we did.
The Software is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no information from anyone.
We will update this policy if the Software's behavior changes, and note the change in the release notes.
